[quote:Anonymous Coward 74520687:MV8zNDQyODYzXzYyMzIyOTMxXzMxQzQ3OUQy] [quote:Serenity12:MV8zNDQyODYzXzYyMzIxMzk0X0E0NjM0RkVG] My spouse was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's Disease, as a nurse I have done a lot of research because I know how grim the diagnosis is. I told him I would do whatever I was asking him to do. We have been doing a nutritional balancing program for 1.5 years. This involves testing our hair. Both of our issues are different. I have shown excess copper and dealt with some nasty rashes with seeping lymph nodes for almost a year, that finally ceased and then it showed Lead coming out. It was like little shards of glass coming out of skin, better but still have some weird patches. Wasn't sure why lead but when an article was provided to me the first thing it mentioned was printing. I grew up in a print shop and worked with many of the chemicals. The whole process has been a trip and I don't think everyone would have stuck through what I have been through. Spouse has shown issues with Aluminum and Manganese. Hoping he is also having some health changes occurring. Aluminum detox causes insomnia and other neurological type things, not rashes, which he has experienced. He has not been able to use anti-perspiratant because of severe reaction to the aluminum in it for over 30 years. We take different supplements based on how the hair tests. Program we are following is by Dr. Wilson. I do not believe our food has the nutrients that we need for a healthy body and we are inundated with chemicals. I am trying to grow more of our food and working to replenish the soil naturally with different gardening techniques.
I'm sorry. It's a difficult disease to watch someone go through. Btw, Parkinson's itself causes insomnia. My Dad has it, and he's been having problems with his legs for a good two years now, to the point where they go 'dead' on him, and he can't move. He has a new doctor and last week, he sent him for a bone density test, so we shall see if that leads to anything. Many Parkinson's patients are also low in magnesium.
