Original Message This is hard to explain, so I hope someone understands me. So when we're born, our brain begins to mold around our experiences. Got it. Our ego, id and superego begin to form. But without these, what actually makes us separate besides physical proximity and distinction? When we're born, are we literally just replicas of each other, but nature just made us look/sound different to give the illusion of separateness? I hope SOMEONE is following me because this has been bugging me for a while now. If we're just replicas, with brains that cause us to think of ourselves as separate/different, then do we really actually die as long as people are being born? Like that baby that's being born right now--is it just you again? Or me again? I'm just you again if I'm younger, or you're just me again if I'm older. Aaaaaah!! Does this make sense?
