Come on St. Helens, I want some action.
Haha! Let's hope not. When she goes, I fear big doom (beyond just volcanoes) on the west coast.
Wasn't here to see her go in the 80's. Now I have a nice piece of land with a clear view from my backporch. Also im only 28 miles from the Ape caves as well. Check them out if you dont know what they are, my kids love going. http://www.mountsthelens.com/ape-caves.html
I witnessed it. I Lived in Trout Lake WA at the time. Used to be a great place to live. Ahh, peaceful country living at it's best! Have not been back to the area for many years,so can't say what it is like now.
Um, yeah, it's peaceful country living like Alamogordo was peaceful desert living until, you know, the thing happened.
Yeah. Times change. The mountain didn't do as much as people did to change things. It was also about that time that the Columbia Gorge became the wind surfing capital of the world. The influx of yuppie types changed the small town idyllic atmosphere as they began snapping up land in the area. There was a major social transformation taking place in the region at the time I moved. That is what I was referring to. :1dunno1:
Wow! Check out all the volcanos that are erupting right now. Not to mention how many have went off over the last two months...
