I read it a little differently.

Trump spells the end of the traditional two-party polarization. Trump has had connections and membership in both parties, I believe. Either party's typical funding appeal begins, "you don't want that [evil other party] to get control; contribute to us." From now on, it's now entrenched elites of both parties versus the rest of us. That's a good thing.

Trump's business background bodes well for America's economy. I'm willing to believe that common sense will prevail in areas that concern you...authoritarianism, racism, etc.  Many of those problems were deliberately manufactured to aggravate the two-party us-versus-them division, which I hope to see end.
