Original Message Here is how they get around the law legally.

They disguise the games as the legal ones you see in malls. Maybe a claw game where you pick up a paper cup with a random prize inside. You know the standard junk game a 5 year old kids play. You win a harmless trinket worth a few cents.

Then they open a store next door run as a separate entity that buys the junk trinkets back for large amounts of cash. Say a unicorn necklace is worth $20 and a frog is worth $5, the princess is worth $100. You get the idea. They have tried prosecuting them a few times, but they have been around 15 years now. They always reopen in the same spots.

Point being I can sell you a trinket for a $1500, then give you a AR as a gift and there is nothing they can do about it.

This is just one simple example.

There is no stopping it, you can gift a gun to anyone you want long as you believe them to be legal.
