[quote:So I Am 66152548:MV8yODQwMTI2XzQ5ODc5NjU4XzYwODI4NTkx] No, I bet the student was up set about failing another 6 weeks after doing nothing but causing grief during the whole 6 weeks. I bet the teacher was trying to calm the student and merely rested their hands on the child's shoulder to try calm and refocus the student, when the student then decides they have been assaulted. I have seen this BS before. Some of these victim claimer kids are all great when its high fives and fake wrestling in the class room. They will even walk up and hug the teacher, however when up set they turn on the teacher and claim all sort of BS , bigoted and racial slurs and all. Admin, usually does nothing about it. Most likely the teacher will be blamed the teacher and admin. will ask the teacher what they did to upset the student. It is always the teachers fault you know. Only after something like this happens does admin ever act concerned for there teachers. Administrators are so full of shit and full of themselves. I expect by the time all is said and done , this teacher will be charged with assault and the parent will walk free of wrong doing. [/quote]

A middle school teacher is recovering in hospital in New York after being viciously assaulted by one of her student's mothers and the woman's 14-year-old niece.
The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon at Alverta B. Gray Schultz Middle School in Hempstead.
Police say the parent, Annika McKenzie, 34, walked into the building without being cleared by security and waited in the hallway for her daughter's math teacher, Catherine Engelhardt.
McKenzie believed Engelhardt had 'put her hands' on her 12-year-old daughter earlier in the day, according to ABC 7.
