[quote:Apollo Far-Darter:MV8yNzQ3Nzc0XzQ3OTYyNzU1X0REOTc4OTA4] [quote:Eleven-15:MV8yNzQ3Nzc0X0RDMENEQkYx] She was only 28. I have never experienced death before. I had imagined one of my parents not my child. I thought I was strong but I am not.
Sorry for your loss op. Death is a natural operation of nature that we all experience. Makes us wonder, if life is so short and ends in death for everyone, why spend what little time we have here, in the hypnotic marketing circus called Western society? At any rate, consider how she will no longer run the risk of disease, violence or hatred. She will no longer run the risk of death. She is completely free of earthly bonds, you should be envious. Death is either loss of all sensation and extinction or you go on living as a different kind of being. All is well. Time will dry your tears and harden your heart. I watched a large part of my family, including my mother, and a good childhood friend die from cancer. If these experiences did not break me, they don't have to break you. Strength and health for you my fellow mortal.
EDIT:
I wanted to change the subject title so I could communicate with a few of the people from this thread. I found myself not wanting to post and draw anymore attention due to the title (if that makes any sense).
I don't know why but that's the way I feel.
