[quote:Anonymous Coward 53367493:MV8yNTQxNjE2XzQ0MDY4NTYxX0Y0OEY1OUQw] No grains/nuts/seeds research phytic acid and vitamin d Also, I always like to think about the circle of life and lifes plan for life to continue. Why would you eat seeds? The plant makes delicious nutritious fruit and puts the seeds inside so that the animal eats, travels, shits, and the seed is in its own fertilizer transported to another location. Like bees gathering nectar and pollinating at the same time. The flower wants the bees to gather nectar. They are brightly colored, smell good, and offer no defenses. Same thing with most fruit. Seeds and nuts have a shell you have to break, needs to be crushed and chewed extensively to swallow. The plant does not want you to have these things. With this way of thinking, its all based on rational thought about how life is supposed to work. Theres no research that needs to be done, theres no documentary to watch. As for animals, they should be eaten sparingly. Eat those that reproduce in large quantities and have little awareness. Fish comes to mind, very good source of vitamin d also, high in protein, easy to digest, easy to catch. Aware animals should be eaten very very rarely. Every part should be utilized. Bones for tools, hide for clothing, sinew as a binding and building agent. Every part can be used and last a long time. But the most abundant source of protein in the natural kingdom, the very large source of food for every other living thing that produces in MASSIVELY large quantities, that have little to no awareness, and 99% of aware entities have no quarrel with killing are... INSECTS. Why its never advocated in a healthy diet to eat insects is kind of... hmmm how to word it... conspiratorial. Makes you really think on how far we are from our true natural way of living. People like to compare, primal and advanced, but I dont see it that way. We have so many new diseases that have come about with our "advanced" way of life. I think its more a on the correct path vs lost and misguided scenario. If we had made these advancements with nature in mind, we would be living in an entirely different world. Think about that. Why would you buy a $4-5 dollar bag of 'cereal' that is basically gmo wheat with crap put back in or 'fortified' so they can claim it's healthy. it isn't.
Here is a simple cereal recipe that takes 1 minute to make with dry ingredients that will store and keep.
Take a bowl and simply through in these ingredients in whatever amount you want:
- hemp hearts
- chia seeds
- cacao nibs
- goji berries
You can include some flax seeds if you feel like grinding them, I don't. Sometimes I'll through in some nuts and berries if I have them on hand.
Add milk and enjoy. Each one of these ingredients on their own is considered a superfood. Combine these in a cereal and you get healthy rocket fuel for the start of your day and you can feel good that everything you just ate is super good for you.
