[quote:eatinmraw 13951732:MV8yNTE5MjMxXzQzNTYzNTg4XzM2QURDMDAx] [quote:Louve:MV8yNTE5MjMxXzQzNTYxMTg2XzdDMTU4RDUx] My neighbor across the street is a WWII veteran and all around great guy. When I told him this story (he already had his flag out) he, in all seriousness said, "It seems that if you want to keep those people out who are offended by the flag, the best way to do it is for everyone to fly theirs" :) Good advice. Everyone have their flags flying today?
i have a flag that flies 24 hrs a day and thousands can see it as it sits up high enough on a main 2 lane road through south King County in WA state. with that said...if she signed a lease/rental agreement and it was in there that NO flags are to be flown in that way...then she's bound by those bylaws...like it or not. it's much like the bozos that move into neighborhoods with covenants that get all pissy and butthurt when they're breaking the rules that they agreed to AND signed to go by and get called out on it. i guess if we have to excuse ignorance and stupidity in this case and others...we'll have to excuse all the stupid ignorant fucks that voted for Obammy...TWICE. plenty of those types on this very site. people that want to fly an American flag or their freak flag need to read what they're signing and/or stop moving into these apartment prisons and covenant covered neighborhoods. argue for her all you want...but if YOU have someone sign an agreement with you...i'll bet you'll want to hold em to everything in said signed agreement. :inIreland:
Yet another company that is telling someone they can't hang an American flag. Let's flood this companies email and voicemail!
La Vista, NE - For two years, red, white and blue has waved in the wind outside Amanda Busch's door.
She said her American flag was never an issue, until two weeks ago. "They said other people could be offended by it and that's why we can't have one."
Busch lives at the Pointe Apartments. She received a notice stating flags and sun shades cannot be attached or displayed to her balcony. "We should be able to be proud of where we live. Be able to support our troops by putting up a flag."
Busch feels her rights were violated when she was faced with a tough decision. Take down the flag or be evicted; the flag now hides in a garage.
