If flags are allowed, they won't be just American. Would you be offended by a Mexican flag hanging at your neighbors house?
They want to move here and then demand it be like their home country. That is why they get offended by someone hanging an American flag in America near them.
I don't think foreigners have a problem with American flags, I think American's have a problem with foreigners displaying flags from their home country and this rule is a way to keep the peace.
You know, when I went to Mexico for work, I wasn't shocked or offended at all when I saw Mexican flags. Fucking people come here and then are offended by our flag? Get your whiney, hateful asses out of my Country!. This is my Country and that's my flag. If you don't respect that, you will NEVER be welcome here. Remember the old rule they taught you way back when...two wrongs don't make a right? You don't punish the innocent and deserving majority to appease the few. If they would have said...No Mexican flags! No nazi flags! No...you get the picture, I would have applauded them. It ain't the same, not even close.
Oh ok, I see what you are saying. Yet another company that is telling someone they can't hang an American flag. Let's flood this companies email and voicemail!
La Vista, NE - For two years, red, white and blue has waved in the wind outside Amanda Busch's door.
She said her American flag was never an issue, until two weeks ago. "They said other people could be offended by it and that's why we can't have one."
Busch lives at the Pointe Apartments. She received a notice stating flags and sun shades cannot be attached or displayed to her balcony. "We should be able to be proud of where we live. Be able to support our troops by putting up a flag."
Busch feels her rights were violated when she was faced with a tough decision. Take down the flag or be evicted; the flag now hides in a garage.
