Original Message There's something funny about this flag: Faulty Union Jack flown above Manchester Central Library on Remembrance Sunday

[link to www.dailymail.co.uk]

As blunders go, it was very public. As timing goes, it was very unfortunate.Passers-by were left bemused when the flag with an unusual pattern[/b] was flown over Manchester's Central Library, close to the cenotaph.
Manufacturers had cut the national emblem at the wrong point in the fabric leaving the diagonal crosses facing outwards giving it an unorthodox appearance.

Contractors who attached the flag to a pole failed to spot the error.

REALLY ?????
As well the MANUFACTURERS as the CONTRACTORS FAILED TO SEE THE ERROR !!!!????

Yeah right.

scratch

facepalm

I'll bet that after a bit of research we will come to see that there was NO ERROR at all.

What can you all come up with to support that it was not A FAIL but a sign/warning/symbol that TPTB "had to show" coz thats the rule they have to follow ---> 'in plain sight'.
