Distribution of the Canadian Penny is ending today.
It was actually made of steel or zinc and copper or mostly copper (in earlier times). So it is now probably worth more than one 1/100 of a dollar.
Would it also be too expensive to make it out of plastic? (like the rest of our worthless money).
What do you think their agenda is with this? Is it simply a sign of our ever increasing inflation?
Is it part of a transition to a completely electronic currency?
Should I save all of my pre-1997 pennies?
