Prolonged living per se can do just that... Care to explain these changes? Or are you another prohibitionist without pharmacological knowledge?
Nah, I smoke cannabis. I mean the drug (Adderall) can completely change a user’s personality over a prolonged time. ...ever heard of stimulant psychosis?
Fair enough, but keep in mind, it is difficult to find a contemporary psychiatrist who doesn't claim the same outcome for cannabis use (progression to psychosis), and we both know THAT isn't true. Also keep in mind that caffeine psychosis is as common as amphetamine psychosis, and neither of these are considered likely among (ab)users. Amphetamine "abusers" frequently are on long binges before psychosis creeps in. Even seasoned methamp addicts do not necessarily ever experience amphetamine psychosis. It really is much rarer than most people think.
Original Message
I think my 50+ female friend is addicted to adderall. I know she was diagnosed as ADD about 7 or 8 years ago, and she ran a successful business.
Now she is having severe health and mental issues and has lost her business.
Anyone else familiar with this addiction?
