[quote:Anonymous Coward 8427946:MV8xODcyMTU4XzMxMjMxMjk3X0YxMDM5NEI1] 1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. Election and predestination are based upon the foreknowledge of Elohim. He knows those that are His from the very beginning. Everyone has free will, and some will accept and some will refuse the GIFT of Elohim. The point is, YHVH knew way ahead of time. [/quote]

I am curious about believers views of free will vs predestination as a salvation issue. Were some chosen and others not prior to creation?
I have always been a free will believer. But toight I got into a debate with a predestination believer.
I am curious as to others insight on the matter.
Do you believe saved people have always been saved from the beginning? Or is it a choice?
