I almost did! lol Witnessed the un-pinning though ;) Real 'Trixie' gurl, you! Gotta thank you, not for me so much (I missed it after all lol), but for those getting a chance to see that some are aware that red Karma isn't necessarily an accurate depiction of a poster's personality or the quality of their posts. Sometimes it just shows that the Karma giver had a bug up their butt about something. Thanks Trix, I'll just bet your pin, and the comments posted because of it, helped some readers feel a little better about things. :hf:
Random acts of kindness ;) We should all try to do more of them....the thread deserved to get some attention, so people could voice their opinions and dismay. Glad you at least caught a pinch of it. Yesterday someone pinned a thread for me and it made me feel really good to know that someone valued what I had to say. I think you got that same or similar feeling with your pin too. Hugs friend :hf:
I have noticed several posters with bad Karma points... posters that I am familiar with their posting style and wondered why on Earth anyone would bad Karma
them
.
IMO, this is a potential problem with the Karma system... people using the Karma feature in place of the thread rating system. Using this as a way to voice disagreement or disapproval of a single thread or post seems to defeat the idea somehow.
Have I misunderstood how the Karma points are designed to be used...
or is it okay to
for no apparent reason?
