Original Message oops....another rig explosion...thankfully not fatal, just 3 injured. Stumbled across it on RSOE website.

"At approximately 10 a.m. this morning the Jefferson Parish 911 Center was notified of a possible rig explosion in Bayou Perot approximately 3 mile, southwest of the Town of Jean Lafitte. Helicopters from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Coast Guard were dispatched to the scene of the explosion. The helicopters reported that the fire was out and no release of oil or gas was visible. Three workers received burns to their hands and face and were transported by boat to the Town of Jean Lafitte. ...
The rig was apparently not in production when the explosion occurred. The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating the incident."

Is this occuring more frequently now or just weren't paying attention to it before?
