[quote:Anonymous Coward 905924:MV8xMDU2NTkwXzE2NzcwMjIyX0M3QjVCRTQ=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 961549] While I agree that all this does seem kind of fishy, it may be the fact that the Gulf oil spill incident has caused us all to by hyper-vigilant regarding any incident in the oil&gas industry. Who knows, a couple accidents a week may be the norm, they just don't break the news like they are now... horseshit He's correct. Try living in the petro-chem-refinery belt. You would understand. Why don't you research it...instead blindly reaching for that bottle of doomtard and no i'm not going to try living in the "petro-chem-refinery belt"....it's a non-natural disaster waiting to happen. post some links to multiple rigs catching on fire/leaking gas on a weekly basis or stfu.
Guess you COULD just do a google news search like he did - but here ya go: http://news.google.com/archivesearch?as_user_ldate=2007&as_user_hdate=2009&q=oil+refinery+explosion&scoring=a&hl=en&ned=us&q=oil+refinery+explosion&lnav=od&btnG=Go http://news.google.com/archivesearch?as_user_ldate=2007&as_user_hdate=2009&q=oil+rig+explosion&scoring=a&hl=en&ned=us&q=oil+rig+explosion&lnav=od&btnG=Go http://news.google.com/archivesearch?as_user_ldate=2007&as_user_hdate=2009&q=+US+oil+refinery+fire&scoring=a&hl=en&ned=us&q=+US+oil+refinery+fire&lnav=od&btnG=Go That's for starters. And this is just the stuff that actually makes the news.
An oil rig on Boca Chica beach is reportedly on fire. Boca Chica Beach is just north of the mouth of the Rio Grande, near Brownsville. This is hundreds of miles from the oil refinery fire in San Antonio.

This is the link...can somebody get it to work, please? It doesn't look right to me...it should be for KRGV news. Sorry, not a computer geek, at all.
